Student Experience

A Community Shaped by Experience

At Minerva, learning extends beyond the classroom—through shared experiences, global perspectives, and meaningful connections.

One Learning Model.
Three Distinct Experiences.

All Minerva programs share the same approach to learning, but how that experience is delivered depends on your stage and goals.

Each path is designed differently, while grounded in the same principles of active learning and real-world application.

Only the undergraduate program is fully residential across multiple global cities. Graduate and executive programs are primarily online, with short-term in-person experiences.

Undergraduate Experience

Living and Learning Across Cities

Undergraduate students live together in global cities, where their academic experience is directly connected to their surroundings.

City-based experiences that connect coursework to local systems

Residence halls staffed and designed to intentionally foster community and collaboration

Student-led clubs, community activities, and cultural exploration led by the Student Life team

Each location is intentionally selected to shape the learning experience, exposing students to new perspectives, communities, and ways of thinking.

Undergraduate Experience

More Than a Global Classroom

Minerva's student experience goes beyond academics. Across every rotation city, undergraduate students build a life together, forming communities that feel both global and genuinely close.

What this looks like:

Student-led clubs and interest groups, supported by the university, that travel with you from city to city. Activities may include recreational sports, theater, creative projects, and other student-led initiatives that reflect each cohort's interests.

Shared housing with dedicated Student Life staff in every city, community programming, and 24/7 on-site support.

Informal city exploration — markets, neighborhoods, food, culture — as a group.

While Minerva isn't a traditional campus, it is a genuine community. Students consistently describe their cohort as one of the most meaningful parts of their education.

Undergraduate Experience

Where You'll Live

Across every rotation city, Minerva students live together in dedicated residence halls designed to support both independence and connection.

Minerva's housing standards include:

Shared apartment-style housing with access to common areas and study spaces

Dedicated Student Life teams in every city, with 24/7 emergency support throughout your journey

A calendar of milestone events, city experiences and orientations designed to help you feel at home in every city

Centrally located housing with easy access to the neighborhoods, culture, and opportunities that define each city

While buildings vary by city and year, the standards, support, and community experience are consistent wherever you are.

Undergraduate Experience

The experience is focused, applied, and designed to translate directly into impact.

Built on Connection

Minerva’s community is intentionally designed—bringing together people from around the world to learn from each other as much as from the curriculum.

Students and participants build:

01

Cross-cultural relationships

02

Collaborative problem-solving skills

03

A global network that continues beyond the program

With representation from over 100 countries, every interaction brings new perspectives into the learning experience.

Learning That Extends Into Daily Life

At Minerva, the distinction between academic and personal experience is intentionally blurred.

Coursework connects to real, diverse environments and challenges

Undergraduate students engage directly with local organizations and communities in each city

Graduate and executive participants apply learning in their professional environments, with and in curated in-person experiences

Daily life becomes part of the learning process

This integration creates a cohesive experience; where learning is continuous, not confined to class time.

What You Take With You

The Minerva experience develops more than academic knowledge.

Students and participants leave with:

The ability to think critically and adapt quickly

Experience working across cultures and contexts

A global network of peers and collaborators
