Important: If you will only be able to attend Minerva with financial aid support, you must apply for financial aid before receiving your admissions decision. Financial aid applications are only considered during your admissions cycle and cannot be submitted afterward.

Need-based financial aid at Minerva is based on your financial circumstances. We offer a combination of need-based and merit-based aid. Financial aid at Minerva is based on your financial circumstances—not test scores or extracurricular achievements.

Packages are tailored to each student’s financial situation and available funding.
Each year Minerva allocates a small amount of funding for institutional scholarships. These scholarships recognize exceptional applicants and support the enrollment of students who strengthen Minerva's mission and community. All applicants are automatically considered; no separate application is required.
All students are expected to contribute toward their Minerva expenses. There are no full-ride financial aid packages, and each student will have an annual expected contribution amount based on their financial circumstances.
Financial aid is limited and awarded based on availability—applying early is strongly encouraged.
Students cannot apply for financial aid after admissions decisions have been released. There are no extensions or exceptions.
Minerva does not participate in U.S. Title IV federal financial aid programs at this time. Federal loans, Pell Grants, and other Title IV funding cannot be applied to Minerva tuition.
Minerva encourages students to explore external scholarship opportunities to supplement financial aid.
To receive a financial aid decision, you must complete all required materials by the financial aid deadline for your admissions cycle.
We strongly recommend applying early—ideally during the Early Action cycle—to maximize your chances of receiving a comprehensive financial aid package.
Important:
If you have already completed an undergraduate degree prior to enrolling at Minerva, you will only be eligible for a low-interest student loan and work study. Scholarships are reserved for first-time university applicants.
All applicants must complete the CSS Profile as a dependent for the appropriate admissions cycle.
Minerva does not offer CSS Profile fee waivers.
Your financial aid application cannot be processed until the CSS Profile is completed and submitted, including payment of the required CSS Profile fee.

Please begin gathering and uploading documents as early as possible. Many students encounter delays at the last minute due to bank processing times, document access issues, or offices being closed. We strongly recommend allowing yourself several weeks to complete and submit your application before the deadline.
